Soccer Recap: Spalding Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Spalding's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Griffin Bears a 4-0 shutout. Autumn Daniels was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

With the victory, Spalding broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-8. As for Griffin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Spalding nor Griffin have any future games scheduled.
