Worth County piles up the points against Berrien

Recap: Worth County Rams vs. Berrien Rebels

There's no place like home for the Worth County Rams, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 66-33 victory over Berrien at home. Given Worth County's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while Berrien is ranked 554th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Worth County to victory, but perhaps none more so than James Raymond, who scored 18 points. NIKENDRICK BROWN was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

Worth County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Berrien, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Worth County won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Atkinson County at 5:30 p.m. on January 20th. Atkinson County is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Berrien, they will head out on the road to challenge Jeff Davis at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
