Basketball Recap: Middletown Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Middletown won against Urbana last Friday with 58 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Middletown Knights came out on top in a nail-biter against the Walkersville Lions, sneaking past 58-55. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since December 17, 2024.

Middletown's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6. As for Walkersville, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Middletown will venture away from home to challenge Williamsport at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Williamsport knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 games -- so hopefully Middletown likes a good challenge. As for Walkersville, they will square off against Clear Spring on Friday. Walkersville is facing Clear Spring at the right time seeing as Clear Spring is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
