Football Recap: Lehman Catholic Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lehman Catholic and Marion Local squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lehman Catholic had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 42-12 loss at the hands of the Flyers. The Cavaliers were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than 31 points in the 11 matchups prior), but the Flyers' defense proved too tough.

Lehman Catholic lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Turner Lachey, who threw for 266 yards and a pair of TDs. Lehman Catholic's leading receiver Gus Richard was Lachey's top target yet again, picking up 97 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Lehman Catholic moved to 10-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Marion Local, their victory bumped their record up to 11-0.

Lehman Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marion Local, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Fort Recovery at 7:00 p.m.
