Baseball Recap: George Washington Comes Up Short

George Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 3-0 to the Heritage Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the first time they've come up short against the Pioneers this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat on Wednesday.

George Washington's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Heritage, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-16.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Pioneers beat George Washington by a score of 3-0 later that day.
