Soccer Recap: Kamiakin Takes a Loss

If Kamiakin was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Southridge on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Braves fell just short of the Chiawana Riverhawks by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. Kamiakin haven't had much luck with Chiawana recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Kamiakin's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 9-3. As for Chiawana, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2-1.

Coming up, Kamiakin will welcome Cedar Park Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Chiawana, they will square off against Pasco at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
