Soccer Recap: Westminster Schools of Augusta Find Success

On Friday, the Westminster Schools of Augusta Wildcats were able to grind out a solid victory over the Lake Oconee Academy Titans, taking the game 3-1.

Joliene Romero and Maggie Egan scored all three of Westminster Schools of Augusta's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Westminster Schools of Augusta now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lake Oconee Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westminster Schools of Augusta will head out to take on Aquinas at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lake Oconee Academy, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Franklin County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Oconee Academy is facing Franklin County at the right time seeing as Franklin County is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
