Football Recap: North Quincy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

North Quincy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 41-20 margin over the Braintree Wamps. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 40-20 loss the last time these two teams met.

North Quincy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gavin Brown led the charge by rushing for 117 yards and a pair of scores, while also picking up 72 receiving yards. Those 117 rushing yards gave Brown a new career-high. Ronan Brown also helped with two TDs in total.

North Quincy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jaylen Williams and Brown.

North Quincy's record is now 3-0. As for Braintree, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

North Quincy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cohasset at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Braintree, they will venture away from home to face off against Framingham at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
