Volleyball Recap: Viroqua's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Viroqua saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Shiocton Chiefs by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Blackhawks' undefeated start to the season.

Megan Brendel paced Viroqua's offense, picking up six kills. Brendel got some help from Emma Moilien and her 13 assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, Viroqua fell to 3-1. As for Shiocton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Coming up, Viroqua will face off against West Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Blackhawks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Shiocton, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Southern Door on the 28th.
