Basketball Recap: Fruitdale Takes a Loss

Fruitdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 30th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 58-31 loss at the hands of the Bayshore Christian Eagles. The Pirates were probably out for revenge after losing 58-26 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Fruitdale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Bayshore Christian, they moved to 2-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Fruitdale will take on Millry at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fruitdale is facing Millry at the right time seeing as Millry is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bayshore Christian, they will welcome Chickasaw at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
