Soccer Recap: Kelly Comes Up Short

Kelly's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Eagle Ridge Christian Eagles by a score of 2-1. Kelly's loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Kelly's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Eagle Ridge Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Kelly will challenge Poplar Bluff at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eagle Ridge Christian, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Thomas Jefferson School at 4:30 p.m. on the 29th.
