Recap: Appalachian Christian Trailblazers vs. Ridgeview Christian Crusaders
The Appalachian Christian Trailblazers lost against the Ridgeview Christian Crusaders back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Appalachian Christian was the victim of a tough 66-43 loss at the hands of Ridgeview Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Appalachian Christian has scored all season.
Appalachian Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jaxon Duff, who scored 19 points. The contest was Duff's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Isaac Morris, who scored 11 points.
Appalachian Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ridgeview Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Appalachian Christian will head out on the road to face off against United Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. United Christian Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Ridgeview Christian, they will be playing at home against Regents at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Regents will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
