Baseball Recap: John Marshall Justices vs. Huguenot Falcons

John Marshall made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Huguenot, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Justices came out on top against the Falcons on Wednesday by a score of 15-3 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The win was some much needed relief for the Justices as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Oscar Carroll was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. Carroll was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one RBI.

In other batting news, Brice Johnson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Darrell Vaughan was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases.
