Seton Catholic fell victim to Safford and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Sentinels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brooke Zuluaga spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances.

Seton Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7-2. As for Safford, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season.
