Basketball Recap: St. David's Snags 12th Victory in Last 14 Games

If Cary Christian wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played St. David, they should've done a better job of containing Anna Hauser. The St. David's Warriors enjoyed a cozy 39-23 win over the Cary Christian Knights on Tuesday thanks in part to Hauser, who posted eight points. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Mary Elizabeth Martin, who earned four points. She is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games.

St. David's is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.8 points per game. As for Cary Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

St. David's has already played their next contest, a 47-35 victory against GRACE Christian on the 30th. As for Cary Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Cary Christian is facing Trinity Academy at the right time seeing as Trinity Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
