There's no place like home for Rampart, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They put the hurt on the Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans with a sharp 57-35 victory on Monday. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Trojans are ranked 214th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rampart's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Wyatt Kirch, who posted 13 points along with seven steals and six boards. The dominant performance gave Kirch a new career-high in steals. Elias Bishop was another key player, going 6-for-11 to rack up 19 points.

Rampart's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Fountain-Fort Carson, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.
