Basketball Recap: Fairfax Homeschool Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Fairfax HomeSchool put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Spirit HomeSchool Warhawks by a score of 68-55. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warhawks, too.

Fairfax HomeSchool's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Vance Nue Simmons led the charge by going 6-for-10 on his way to 15 points along with five assists and three steals. Nue Simmons is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Josh Choat was another key player, shooting 55% from the field to rack up 13 points in addition to seven boards and five assists.

Fairfax HomeSchool's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Spirit HomeSchool, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Fairfax HomeSchool will venture away from home to square off against Bethel Academy Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Spirit HomeSchool, they will face off against Summit Christian Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
