Basketball Game Preview: Wagon Mound Trojans vs. Cimarron Rams

Wagon Mound is 0-10 against Cimarron since February of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Wagon Mound Trojans are taking a road trip to square off against the Cimarron Rams at 5:30 p.m.

Wagon Mound is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Friday. The match between them and Des Moines didn't end well, with Wagon Mound falling 54-35.

Meanwhile, Cimarron came tearing into Monday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 84-60 win.

Cimarron pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points over those games. As for Wagon Mound, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Wagon Mound was taken down by Cimarron 76-44 when the teams last played back in January. Can Wagon Mound avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
