After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spring Lake Park, Centennial was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Rogers Royals 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since June 1, 2024.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Rogers, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Centennial wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-4 loss against Totino-Grace on the 1st. Rogers has also already played their next game (against Anoka), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
