Volleyball Recap: Gray Collegiate Academy Comes Up Short

Gray Collegiate Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. James Sharks.

Taylor Dukes paced Gray Collegiate Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Dukes got some help from Colby Branham and her 11 assists.

Gray Collegiate Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for St. James, they moved to 9-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Gray Collegiate Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Hartsville on the 27th. As for St. James, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Mountain View Prep on the 27th.
