Basketball Recap: Lynn Camp Wildcats vs. Cumberland Christian Home Educators Hawks
Lynn Camp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through an 81-48 loss at the hands of the Cumberland Christian Home Educators Hawks. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.
Cumberland Christian Home Educators' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Tigue, who posted 17 points along with seven boards and four steals. That's the most steals Tigue has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Joshua Sloan, who scored 18 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals.
Lynn Camp's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Cumberland Christian Home Educators, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-13 record this season.
