Baseball Game Preview: Eastwood Eagles vs. Lake Flyers

The Eastwood Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Lake Flyers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Eastwood came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-0 to Otsego.

Meanwhile, Lake might've scored the first runs on Tuesday, but it was Woodmore who claimed the real prize. The Flyers fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 7-6.

Lake's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Eastwood, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.

Eastwood beat Lake 5-2 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Flyers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
