Recap: Russellville Indians vs. Fayette Falcons
The Russellville Indians can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They snuck past Fayette with a 32-28 win. For Russellville, this counts as revenge for the 46-8 loss Fayette walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Russellville found their leader in underclassman Justin Seaver, who rushed for 143 yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Drake Armes, who rushed for 115 yards on only ten carries.
Russellville's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Fayette, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-8.
Russellville will square off against St. Vincent at TBD on Friday. St. Vincent will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Fayette does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
