            Volleyball Recap: Lake Weir Hurricanes vs. West Port Wolf Pack        
        
		
        
        
            Lake Weir was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They lost  3-0 to the West Port Wolf Pack. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolf Pack this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-2  back in March.
 While Lake Weir ultimately came up short, they really made  West Port work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 26-24,  25-15.
 West Port found their leader in freshman  Luis Monserat, who  had 19  digs and two  aces. Monserat has been hot, having  posted 18 or more  digs the last seven times he's  played.
Lake Weir's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for West Port, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-10.
 Coming up, Lake Weir will face off against Vanguard at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for West Port, they will challenge Seven Rivers Christian at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Wolf Pack are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on  a  seven-game losing streak.
