Basketball Recap: Union Piles Up the Points Against Wapsie Valley

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Union). They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 77-44 victory over the Wapsie Valley Warriors. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season.

Union's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.3 points. As for Wapsie Valley, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union will head out to square off against Oelwein at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Union is facing Oelwein at the right time seeing as Oelwein is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Wapsie Valley, they will venture away from home to face off against Denver at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
