Softball Recap: Columbus Drops Highest Score of Season Against Dike-New Hartford

Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dike-New Hartford Wolverines. On the bright side, the two- run performance marked the Sailors' highest-scoring game to date.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Dike-New Hartford, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Columbus didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-4 loss against Wapsie Valley on the 31st. As for Dike-New Hartford, they will take on Hudson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
