Basketball Recap: Instituto Health Sciences Takes a Loss

Instituto Health Sciences lost against Kelly back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Instituto Health Sciences Phoenix took a hard 54-37 fall against the Kelly Trojans. The Phoenix have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Devin Zuno continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kelly, going 11 for 20 on his way to 26 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Armani Rubio, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 11 points and six rebounds.

Instituto Health Sciences' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Kelly, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.

Instituto Health Sciences and ACERO Garcia will compete for holiday cheer at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kelly, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 36-18 loss against Chicago Washington on the 16th.
