Volleyball Recap: Plainfield South Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Plainfield South lost to Yorkville back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Foxes. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Plainfield South was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-22.

Papaa Adansi-Ofori paced Plainfield South's offense, picking up three kills. Adansi-Ofori got some help from Tyler Bayles and his eight assists.

Plainfield South's loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Yorkville, their win bumped their record up to 17-12.

Plainfield South didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Whitney Young on the 8th. As for Yorkville, they will venture away from home to square off against Minooka at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
