Basketball Game Preview: Logan Longhorns vs. Grady Bronchos

Logan has gone a perfect 10-0 against Grady recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Logan Longhorns will head out to square off against the Grady Bronchos at 8:00 p.m. One thing working in Logan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches.

Logan can't be too worried about heading out to take on Grady: they just beat Fort Sumner/House at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Logan secured a 57-51 W over Fort Sumner/House on Saturday.

It was another big night for Hayden Bruhn, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 14 boards. The game was his fourth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Aydin Kotara, who posted seven points and three steals.

Logan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Grady was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 44-38 to Dora.

Logan's record now sits at 19-3. As for Grady, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Logan against Grady in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as the team secured an 80-47 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Logan since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
