Baseball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Woodland and Cleburne County, and Cleburne County kept the tradition alive. The Woodland Bobcats lost 14-4 to the Cleburne County Tigers on Wednesday. The Bobcats have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meetings.

Garrett Hendrix made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4. Andrew Sanchez was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
