Maclay is 10-0 against Wakulla since November of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Maclay Marauders will be playing at home against the Wakulla War Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

Wakulla is hoping to do what Suwannee couldn't last Wednesday: put an end to Maclay's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Maclay's defense stepped up to hand Suwannee a 1-0 shutout. Given the Marauders' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 355th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Wakulla won against Suwannee on Tuesday with two goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Thursday. Wakulla skirted past Bay 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the War Eagles.

Aerynson Smith was the driving force of Wakulla's attack as she scored both of Wakulla's goals, bringing her season total up to 11 goals.

Wakulla's win bumped their record up to 6-3-2. As for Maclay, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Everything went Maclay's way against Wakulla in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, as Maclay made off with a 7-0 win. Will Maclay repeat their success, or does Wakulla have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
