Volleyball Game Preview: Berkeley Yellowjackets vs. Alameda Hornets

The Berkeley Yellowjackets will face off against the Alameda Hornets at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Berkeley is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Berkeley lost 3-0 to Castro Valley on Friday.

Berkeley was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14, 25-23.

The losing side was boosted by Davis Bove, who had five digs and four aces.

Meanwhile, Alameda came up short against Oakland on Wednesday and fell 3-1. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-23, 17-25, 25-12, 25-17.

Berkeley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Alameda, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.
