Basketball Game Preview: Hamilton Big Blue vs. Princeton Vikings

Hamilton and Princeton are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Hamilton Big Blue will venture away from home to square off against the Princeton Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.

Hamilton is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Friday. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-43 heartbreaker at the hands of Badin. While losing is never fun, the Big Blue can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 481st, while the Rams are ranked 105th).

Meanwhile, Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-61 heartbreaker at the hands of Reynoldsburg.

Princeton's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Hamilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Hamilton and Princeton were neck-and-neck when the teams last played on December 10th, but Hamilton came up empty-handed after a 58-57 loss. Can Hamilton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
