Softball Recap: Westside Gets the Win

With a playoff win on the line, Westside rose to the challenge on Thursday. They skirted past the Gravette Lions 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Westside saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madalynn Smith, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run. Laela Crites was another, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Westside's victory bumped their record up to 22-13. As for Gravette, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-11.

Westside has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Monticello on the 15th. Gravette does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
