Softball Recap: West Anchorage Eagles vs. Service Cougars
West Anchorage extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to four on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 0-3 in the process. They lost 12-4 to the Service Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-4 last Wednesday.

For Service's part, they let McKinley Fuller and Madison Davis run wild. Fuller went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI, while Davis went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those four RBI gave Davis a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Coles, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Looking ahead, West Anchorage will take on Homer in a tournament on Thursday. As for Service, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-1 victory against Lathrop on the 1st.
