Soccer Recap: Burroughs Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Burroughs was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They lost 4-1 to the St. Francis Golden Knights. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Bears couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Justin Trigo, who's now up to two this season.

Burroughs now has a losing record at 1-2. As for St. Francis, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burroughs will host Schurr at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Francis, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Crescenta Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
