Volleyball Recap: Locust Grove Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Tuesday. Locust Grove fell just short of Whitewater by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for Locust Grove in their meetings with Whitewater: they've now lost six in a row.

Locust Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-1. As for Whitewater, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-4-1.

Looking ahead, Locust Grove will head out on the road to square off against Jasper County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Whitewater, they will welcome Northgate at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
