Soccer Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Mountain View was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They came up short against the Ysleta Indians, falling 4-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lobos of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2018.

Mountain View dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Ysleta, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain View will head out to take on Austin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ysleta, they will take on Harmony Science Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
