Edon extended their home winning streak to ten games thanks to a huge performance from Genna Ripke. The Bombers had just enough and edged out the Hicksville Aces 2-1 on Saturday with plenty of help from Ripke, who had 16 digs and eight aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 15 or more in each of the last 16 games she's played.
In the two sets Edon was on fire: they won each by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 20-25, 25-12.
Edon got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Izzy Mercer out in front who had 12 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Aldrich, who had nine digs and one assist.
