Baseball Game Preview: Laguna Hills Hawks vs. Fullerton Indians

The Laguna Hills Hawks will head out on the road to challenge the Fullerton Indians at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Laguna Hills' pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Fullerton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Monday as neither Laguna Hills nor Laguna Beach made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Hawks fell just short of the Breakers by a score of 3-2.

Laguna Hills saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joseph Skala, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Meanwhile, Fullerton beat Calvary Chapel 8-3 on Friday. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Evan Terrazas looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Christian Robinson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. Mason Park also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Laguna Hills' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-9. As for Fullerton, their victory bumped their record up to 15-8-1.
