Basketball Recap: Jackson's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tecumseh, Jackson was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 45-26 win over the Adrian Maples. The victory was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.

Jackson's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-10. As for Adrian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

Jackson and Adrian could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Jackson will square off against Pinckney at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 284 places (501 vs. 217). Jackson is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. Similarly, Adrian (ranked 187th) will meet Chelsea (ranked 11th) at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
