Baseball Recap: Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool Comes Up Short

If Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool was riding high fresh off their 16-0 takedown of Raleigh HomeSchool on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trailblazers took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Turpin Spartans on Saturday.

Elijah Yarnell was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Jude Page, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 23-6. As for Turpin, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool will host Cincinnati Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Turpin, they will welcome Lebanon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
