Volleyball Recap: Lakewood Comes Up Short

Lakewood's tournament run continued when they took on Los Altos on Saturday. The Lancers fell 2-0 to the Conquerors. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakewood was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20.

Lakewood's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Los Altos, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Lakewood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Sonora on the 5th. As for Los Altos, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Tustin on the 5th.
