Basketball Recap: Buckeye Comes Up Short

Buckeye's tournament run continued when they took on Southwood on Monday. The Panthers fell 57-53 to the Cowboys. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Buckeye now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Southwood, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Buckeye will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Oak Hill at 7:00 p.m. on December 4. As for Southwood, they will challenge Booker T. Washington-Shreveport at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
