Basketball Game Preview: Santiam Christian Eagles vs. Portland Christian Royals

The Santiam Christian Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Portland Christian Royals at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Last Thursday, Santiam Christian came up short against Creswell and fell 63-54. The Eagles have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Portland Christian hadn't done well against Portland Adventist Academy recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Portland Christian took down Portland Adventist Academy 52-38. The Royals' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Portland Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Santiam Christian, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
