Volleyball Recap: Hillsboro Triumphs

Hillsboro saw some tournament action on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hubbard Jaguars.

Addilynn Clayton paced Hillsboro's offense, picking up five kills. Clayton got some help from Cloe Creech and her nine assists. Anisa Rea controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The win got Hillsboro back to even at 1-1. As for Hubbard, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Hillsboro wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Granger on the 14th. As for Hubbard, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 0-0 defeat against Marlin on the 16th.
