Fernley won the last time they faced South Tahoe and things went their way on Saturday too. The Fernley Vaqueros came out on top against the South Tahoe Vikings by a score of 10-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vaqueros.

Fernley let Spencer Pryor and Riley McCullar run wild. Pryor went 3-for-5 with three RBI, while McCullar scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4. That's the most stolen bases McCullar has posted since back in April of 2024.

Fernley's win bumped their record up to 3-6-1. As for South Tahoe, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fernley will face off against Churchill County at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give Churchill County their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for South Tahoe, they will head out on the road to face off against Hug at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hug has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12 runs per game on average), something South Tahoe will no doubt try to take advantage of.
