Baseball Recap: Los Angeles Comes Up Short

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Los Angeles and Jefferson meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Wednesday. Los Angeles fell 7-3 to Jefferson. The Romans were not able to make up for their loss to the Democrats from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Los Angeles saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Salazar, who got on base in four of his seven plate appearances with one RBI.

Los Angeles' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. Jefferson has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Jefferson beat Los Angeles by a score of 12-2 on Friday.
