Basketball Game Preview: Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs vs. Green Bulldogs

The Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs are taking a road trip to square off against the Green Bulldogs at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Green took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Stow-Munroe Falls, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Stow-Munroe Falls turned things around against Wadsworth on Friday. They came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 57-49. The score was all tied up 30-30 at the break, but the Bulldogs were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Green was not able to break out of their rough patch on Sunday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 56-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Canfield. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 554th, while the Cardinals are ranked 20th).

Stow-Munroe Falls' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7. As for Green, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Stow-Munroe Falls didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Green in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 40-36 win. Will Stow-Munroe Falls repeat their success, or does Green have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
