Crosspoint Christian waltzed into Friday's matchup with two straight wins but they left with three. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 69-38 win over The Fulton. With that win, Crosspoint Christian brought their scoring average up to 51.8 points per game.
Crosspoint Christian had a senior duo take command as James Murray dropped a double-double on 24 points and 18 rebounds and Jace Stroup scored 21 points along with 8 assists and 8 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Murray has scored at least 25% of Crosspoint Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Carl Lewis, who scored 7 points along with 8 rebounds.
Crosspoint Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for The Fulton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Crosspoint Christian will play host again and welcome Westwood Baptist Academy, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Fulton will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis at 4:30 p.m. on December 12th.
